RICK ZIEFF

Rick Zieff is a voice director known for bringing richness, humor and intensity to any script. He is equally capable helming animated action/adventure projects (2019’s SHERWOOD series on YouTube with an all-star cast), animated comedies (52 episodes of GET BLAKE on Nickelodeon), and television and film dubs (the Netflix hit BABYLON, BERLIN). An accomplished voice actor himself (2017 Emmy nomination for his role of Spike the Dog on THE TOM AND JERRY SHOW). Rick first connected with Verite Entertainment as talent, and he has voiced all kinds of oddball characters in many projects there. In 2018, Verite invited Rick to co-direct Overkill’s The Walking Dead video game, and since then has brought Rick in as one of Verite’s team of voice directors, working on Amazon’s upcoming live action english dub. He is also currently voice directing 26 episodes of Belli Studio’s hilarious, family-friendly animated TV series, Boris and Rufus, for Verité. Rick truly embraces the spirit of collaboration and appreciates the creative input of writers, actors, producers, and postproduction teams. It is this passion that drew him to Verité—a place that embodies that spirit-- and he is delighted and proud to be part of the Verité family. Fun facts: Rick is a popular voice-over coach here in Los Angeles and in workshops and seminars around the U.S. He cast the voices in the Oscar-winning animated short THE CHUBBCHUBBS, and he once played a rabbi on Broadway.
